Thank you to the Pico Rivera children's librarian, Jessica Chu, for providing valuable resources to parents attending the School Smarts Parent Academy. Thank you also to all the parents who attended our first session. We invite you to join us next Wednesday at 8:15 am for our second session.
Topic: Protect Your Child from Social Media
Our Folklorico Quetzal (led by
Ms. Barrera) performed at the Dia De Los Muertos Celebration at the STEAM Academy. Way to go to our young performers!
Every classroom learns about a specific college. On Thursdays, students are encouraged to wear a college t-shirt. To learn more about how to prepare your child for college, visit Generation First Degree- Pico Rivera at http://g1dpicorivera.org/
Renaissance Home Connect improves the school-to-home connection by allowing parents and students to log in to a website and view the student’s reading and progress towards goals. Access to online test results (AR) promotes discussion between parents and students, which motivates students and can make reading practice even more effective. In addition, parents can specify up to six email addresses to receive automatic updates in English or Spanish on their reading progress.
To access your child's AR progress, go to the following site: https://hosted231.renlearn.com/264432/HomeConnect/
You must use your child's login information to login.
