Our new themes this month are Dinosaurs and Zoo Animals. Through our study of zoo animals, we will become familiar with the names and homes of many zoo animals. The dinosaur theme will explore different colors, sizes, and types of dinosaurs.
This month's vocabulary words are:
elephant, giraffe, monkey, snake, lion, zebra, dinosaur, bone, fossil, nest, and egg
Classroom activities include:
*digging for fossils in sand
*making fossil imprints
*stamp art with dinosaurs
*creating zoo animals out of construction paper
*creating a zoo animal mask
